| Admission Requirements |
1. High School graduates or its equivalent, or age 19 and over;
2. Meet the English Proficiency Requirement as followings:
a. A minimum score of 500 in formal TOEFL, or TOEFL IBT 61, or IELTS 6, or pass an in-house English test with the minimum score of 500 conducted by UPC; or
b. Four years of full-time education with the English instructions in Canada or other countries.

Upon completion of this program the successful student will have reliably demonstrated the ability to:
1. Gain basic knowledge for entry –level job as well as that for advanced academic study.

Learning resources are mainly from textbooks, while some are from real-life case studies, internet information, as well as videos.

Marking Scheme
Most classes have two major exams; each weighs at least 30% towards the final grade. For some classes, there are case studies, term projects, presentations, and etc. Generally, class attendance weighs 5%, assignments weighs 10%, and exams weigh 60%, presentation, participation, and term project together weigh 25%. Instructors have the discretion to make changes to the marking scheme deemed necessary. For details, please refer to individual class syllabus.
